About the Brand
, or "long," means dragon in Chinese, and Long Cha is a beverage brand dedicated to providing a flavorful and colorful drinking experience. Every bottle of Long Cha is a harmonious balance of handpicked fruits and dragon's pearl jasmine tea, offering a refreshing, flavorful drink that’s both aromatic and nourishing. The target audience focuses on people who appreciate Chinese teas and those who appreciate a unique drinking experience.

Process & Inspiration
Market research was done by photographing various drink brands in grocery stores in Little Tokyo. Inspiration was taken from many of these brands and was implemented throughout the brand's aesthetic.
Character Development
The central character on which the brand is built is the Chinese dragon. Many iterations were to ensure the dragon has a flowing silhouette and easily distinguishable design. Early designs also explored the idea 
of designing the dragons after their individual fruits.
Label & Bottle Development
It was decided early on that a large amount of emphasis would be placed on the shape of the bottle and the label. The purpose of this is to create a memorable bottle form and aesthetic label. Iterations were made to explore the balance of the type and logo as well as the illustration.
